Ayahusca

- the gateway to the spiritual world

Ayahuasca, also known as yage, is a pharmacologically complex brew, originally used by shamans in South America, in spiritual healing practices. Ayahuasca is perceived as a medicinal brew (a herbal tea), where one of the basic components comes from the psychoactive plant Banisteriopsis Caapi which mainly grows in the Amazon. Peru’s government claimed that consumption or “the teacher” or “wisdom” plant constitutes the gateway to the spiritual world and its secrets, which is why traditional Amazon medicine has been structured around the ayahuasca ritual.

Due to the brewery's ability to open up a spiritual connection and create an opening to the emotional epicenter, there has been an ever-increasing interest in the brewery's many mental healing properties in all parts of the world. Despite the fact that Ayahuasca is illegal in many countries, due to the content of the natural but psychoactive substance dimethyltryptamine, more and more experiences document the benefits they experience in connection with the use of Ayahuasca.

The science of Ayahuasca

In 1993, American and Brazilian scientists conducted the Hoasca Project in the Amazon, in which a group of

long-term users of the tea, were compared to a group of non-users. In addition to biochemical, pharmacological and physiological studies, the subjects were also subjected to

a comprehensive psychological/psychiatric examination.
A large percentage of long-term users of the tea showed a cure for alcohol and drug abuse. They were found to be more reliable, loyal, optimistic, spontaneous, energetic and emotionally mature in relation to the control group. In addition, long-term users achieved better results than the control group in tests that measured concentration and short-term memory.

The tea has been intensively studied by groups throughout the world and these have shown that in reasonable doses and in a safe setting, the tea has no cognitive/psychiatric or physical consequences. No adverse effects of long-term use of the tea has been found.

In terms of mental health, the same studies have shown users of the Tea have increased levels of happiness and health. The Tea is not physically addictive and many users experience a self-regulation of the use of the tea. This is despite the fact that the tea has no actual tolerance dose and can be used on a daily basis if desired.

People who consume the Tea often report strong spiritual experiences about their purpose on earth, the true nature of the universe, as well as deep insights into how they can become the best version of themselves. Almost everyone experiences a strong positive change in life after a ceremony. In addition, it is often reported that access to higher spiritual dimensions is achieved where contact can be made with various individuals who can serve as guides or healers.

The only danger with the tea is the content of MAO inhibitors, which make it necessary to follow a strict tyramine free diet, as well as not to mix the tea with a large number of known medicines, such as antidepressants, migraine medicines, certain herbs, most cold medicines (e.g. cough syrup and the like), allergy medicines such as antihistamines, as the combination with these can cause fatal or near fatal serotonin syndrome.
